Low Light photography excites me more than almost any other form. I adore bringing out details that are right on the edge of human vision. In Chile I was fortunate to have some of the clearest skies in the world, but lacked the equipment to make the most of it. Now that I’m back in New Zealand I’m orienting my gear towards this genre, using specialist cameras such as the GH5S from Panasonic, and soon their S1 series camera.
Spending hours under the stars, or in a glow worm cave, is an awesome experience, but it can be that much more exciting with a small group of like minded photography enthusiasts. This is why I created my workshop business, High Res Tours, to introduce others to these stunning locations and teach the techniques I’ve learned along the way.
